Below are the first three Triads and their associated Task Lists.
Cardiac Arrest
The CPR priority element is colour coded red to link with all other priority elements relating to the cardiovascular system in other Triads.
The Adrenaline priority element is colour coded violet to link with the ISO26825: 2008 standard for colour coding of user applied syringe labels for vasopressors. The Rhythm Check priority element is colour coded green to link with the usual colour of the ECG trace on bedside monitors. This priority includes the "text outline" indicating that it, and subsequent Task List items, are directed at treating the cause of the problem |
Anaphylaxis
The Adrenaline priority element is colour coded violet to link with the ISO26825: 2008 standard for colour codiing of user applied labels for vasopressors. This priority includes the "text outline" indicating that it, and subsequent Task List items, are directed at treating or evaluating the cause of the problem.
The Fluids priority element is colour coded blue to link with water. The Oxygen priority element is colour coded white to link with the ISO 32:1977 standard for colour coding of oxygen cylinders. It is recognised that not all countries use this standard. |
Malignant Hyperthermia
The Stop Volatile priority element is colour coded black to be consistent with the coding of all elements that prompt stopping something in other Triads.
The Dantrolene priority element is colour coded orange to link with the colour of dantrolene. The Stop Volatile and Dantrolene priority elements both include the "text outline" indicating that they are directed at treating the cause of the problem. |
